This is one of a series of interviews completed by the Milton Historical Society (http://miltonhistoricalsociety.ca) as part of the production of the book "Milton Remembers WWII 1939-1945". Several veterans of Milton and the surrounding community were interviewed by MHS staff to document their experiences in Milton, their service to Canada in WWII and the impact that this had on their life. This is the interview of Flying Officer Jack Dawkins who served in the Coastal Command and Torpedo Squadrons throughout the war. Jack came to Milton in 1993 to be close to his daughter. This interview was conducted by Ken Lamb on November 13, 1993.
